Local Heroes

When you enter the museum you will be met with WWI & WWII heirlooms from local families. Military uniforms, dog tags, badge of honors, postcards, U.S. Flags, and more are proudly displayed for viewing.

The Raymore Historical Society is especially proud to display the uniform & belongings of George Sheeley who helped liberate a town in France during WWII from Nazis. Heroic George Watkins also has belongings on display like his Campaign Medals as well as his uniform.
